Mine was just that, because as is my custom, the night before we organized the tasks we had to accomplish the next day. This habit helps us a lot, as it allows us to optimize our time, avoid unnecessary trips to the city, and, above all, support each other at home to get through the pending tasks that, as you well know, are never lacking in a household. There is always something to do, something to repair, something to improve, and if we organize ourselves well, everything flows more harmoniously.
The weather has been simply spectacular these days. Those who know me know that this fills me with energy and puts me in a very good mood. The little details make my day brighter. They also inspire me to go out and capture the beautiful landscapes, both natural and urban, that this beautiful island offers us. I love finding those overlooked corners, those spaces that few notice but that have a unique beauty. It is those little moments that I like to share with you.

El mío así fue, pues como es costumbre en mí, desde la noche anterior organizamos las tareas que debemos cumplir al día siguiente. Esta costumbre nos ayuda muchísimo, ya que nos permite optimizar el tiempo, evitar viajes innecesarios a la ciudad y, sobre todo, apoyarnos mutuamente en casa para ir cumpliendo con los pendientes que, como bien saben, nunca faltan en un hogar. Siempre hay algo que hacer, algo que reparar, algo que mejorar, y si nos organizamos bien, todo fluye con más armonía.
En estos días el clima ha estado simplemente espectacular. Los que me conocen saben que eso me llena de energía y me pone de muy buen humor. Los pequeños detalles hacen que mi día sea más radiante. Además, me inspiran a salir y capturar los hermosos paisajes, tanto naturales como urbanos, que nos regala esta hermosa isla. Me encanta encontrar esos rincones huérfanos de atención, esos espacios que pocos notan pero que tienen una belleza única. Son esos pequeños momentos los que me gusta compartir con ustedes.
Work has been a little less intense these days, which I appreciate. This reduction in workload allows me to work more calmly, without so much pressure, and to plan my activities better. When I arrived at the hotel, as always, I carried out my routine with my characteristic sense of responsibility. For me, quality and efficiency are fundamental, and I try to ensure that every task I perform reflects well on me. That is, without a doubt, my best calling card.
El trabajo en estos días ha estado un poco menos intenso, lo cual agradezco. Esa disminución en la carga me permite trabajar con más calma, sin tanta presión, y planificar mejor mis actividades. Al llegar al hotel, como siempre, realicé mi rutina con la responsabilidad que me caracteriza. Para mí, la calidad y la eficiencia son fundamentales, y trato de que cada tarea que realizo hable bien de mí. Esa es, sin duda, mi mejor carta de presentación.
Once my workday was over, I headed into town, where my husband was already waiting for me. We had some errands to run. First, we went to look for a hose for the air conditioner, something we needed urgently. Fortunately, we found it without any major setbacks.
Una vez finalizada mi jornada laboral, salí rumbo a la ciudad, donde mi esposo ya me esperaba. Teníamos algunas diligencias pendientes. Primero, fuimos a buscar una manguera para el aire acondicionado, algo que necesitábamos con urgencia. Afortunadamente, la conseguimos sin mayores contratiempos.
Then we went to El Castillo store, where I had to buy fabric to make a curtain for my father. He had told me he needed it for the kitchen, and I decided to support him, always deferring to his tastes.
My father has very definite tastes: he loves brown and cream tones. So I focused on finding a fabric that combined those colors, something simple but beautiful, that would add warmth to his kitchen. After looking at several options, I found one that I'm sure he'll love. I can already imagine his face when he sees it. So now I have an extra task for these days: to lovingly make that curtain he needs so much.
Luego, nos dirigimos a la tienda El Castillo, donde debía comprar una tela para hacerle una cortina a mi padre. Él me había comentado que la necesitaba para la cocina, y decidí apoyarlo, siempre esperando sus gustos.
Mi padre tiene un gusto muy definido: le encantan los tonos marrones y crema. Así que me enfoqué en buscar una tela que combinara esos colores, algo sobrio pero bonito, que le diera calidez a su cocina. Después de revisar varias opciones, encontré una que estoy segura le encantará. Ya me imagino su cara cuando la vea. Así que ahora tengo una tarea extra para estos días: confeccionar con mucho cariño esa cortina que tanto necesita.
With all our shopping done and our tasks completed, we set off on our return journey home. The trip back was very beautiful, and we took the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding landscapes. The island, with its mix of nature and urbanism, looks especially beautiful in this generous climate. It is a gift we receive every day on every journey, an opportunity to admire our surroundings.
Con todas las compras hechas y las tareas cumplidas, emprendimos el regreso a casa. El camino de vuelta fue muy hermoso, aprovechando para disfrutar de los paisajes que nos rodean. La isla, con su mezcla de naturaleza y urbanismo, se ve especialmente hermosa con este clima tan generoso. Es un regalo que recibimos cada día en cada trayecto, es una oportunidad para admirar nuestro entorno.
