Art vs. Drowsiness: Drawing LiSA

Look who's back with a drawing. Not the usual kind of style I use but at least I got in the mood to hold my pen! Taking my meds for my allergy makes me sluggish all day and sleepy minutes after I take it.

I badly want to make a drawing for LiSA's birthday last week but my lazybones added with the side effect of my meds made it more difficult. But! I saw one of LiSA's Instagram post and I was inspired to draw her because of her odd dress. I plan to draw it in advance for her birthday though I was only able to do it the night of her birthday and it didn't make it on time, obviously. I was also too lazy to post it on Instagram since it was already late.

Welcome to Takyarts' lazy art! I wasn't able to do outdoor tasks and staying in the room doing nothing felt boring so I decided that I will finally make an art! But only quickly! Just before my meds' side effect kicks in.

The reference was a video that's why I created a different pose for my drawing. This drawing took me around an hour to make.

Sorry, I don't have a step-by-step wip snaps for this drawing simply because I forgot to do it. Lol. I was able to record the timelapse though! :)

This style is really very simple. I started by sketching the pose, then turning down the opacity a bit to be able to create a rough sketch. The brush I used for the rough sketch is a pencil. I don't know the exact name but I like that the texture of the line is similar to a pencil making rough sketches fun! Hehe. Then in a separate layer, I used Multiply so that colors won't overlap with the lines. I also added some strokes of orange and blue colors on the background to give it some Spiderman vibes. LiSA did the theme song for the Spiderman Japanese dubbed movie.
