The Lack Of Uniformity In Life
Life's about comings and goings. A cycle begins and ends, only for another cycle to begin and also end. The meaning of it all can be as varied as human emotions.
I think the meaning of life is a strictly subjective matter that has to be discovered by the individual. Somehow, our rational mind can't make sense out of life, as the latter often eludes the former.
In any case, within this comings and goings, a question that often arises and I always ask myself is whether there is a way to speed up the process of comings and goings? This stems from the feeling that certain aspects of my life are moving at a snail's pace, especially when compared to the whole of it.
For example, on a personal aspect like personal growth. I will be moving at a fast pace while on a professional aspect like networking I will be moving at much slower pace compared to the former.
I mostly prefer it when things are orderly and everything is moving almost at the same pace, the moment disorder arises, alarm bells start ringing in my head.
Being Comfortable With The Unevenness
However, the very fact that life eludes us rationally means that we can't always have things work out the way we want.
On the one hand, this unevenness gives way for the unplanned to unfold, revealing hidden opportunities or obstacles. Sometimes, it's akin to taking a scenic detour on a road trip, which leads to breathtaking vistas.
On the other hand however, this same unevenness disrupts our seemingly natural rhythms and the effect(s) of that can make it difficult to prioritize effectively.
When everything moves at its own pace, it's easy to get pulled in different directions, which means not knowing or losing sight of what truly matters.
At the same time, unhealthy comparisons between expectations and reality further amplifies the discomfort of unevenness.
So, how do we navigate this inherent unevenness and find comfort amidst the unpredictable rhythm of life?
The common saying "ignorance is bliss" might hold some truth, but perhaps a more empowering approach in my view is cultivating indifference towards the chaos. Now, this doesn't mean apathy, but rather accepting the lack of uniformity as a fundamental aspect of life's equation. It is what it is.
Also, the timeless advice on focusing on things we can control instead of the things we can't control can be applied in this context. I think things we can't control will always sort themselves out based on their 'own logic'.
But I also think that things we can control can indirectly influence things we can't control. If nothing changes then nothing changes. But if something changes then something will change.
Of course, these are just intuitions based on subjective impressions. They may not be an objective fact.
In Conclusion
The human experience is inherently diverse, and the lack of uniformity is considered a universal truth. Many others grapple with the desire for order amidst life's inevitable chaos.
For people who prefer things to be orderly or uniform, coming up with the realization that life isn't inherently that way can be hard to accept. I still haven't fully accepted it and sometimes, I try to move things differently with the hopes of bending reality, so to speak.

The world lacks uniformity and orderly is only a wishful thinking. What we can expect of pace in such scenarios is one of uncertainty. Sometimes, life would go as planned and other times, out of control as you have rightly said
Right. In a way, I think it may have to do with Divine Intervention. We make our own plans but the Divine also has its own plan, sometimes these two are not in sync with each other. So our plan will probably not turn out the way we want it to.
Thanks for stopping by :)
You're right, unless we align ourselves with Divine which is often difficult but necessary
