Very very true! I think that's also the best edge to have against all the other creatures we share the Earth with. Our minds are more capable than we'd like to admit, similar to the saying that we're using only a fraction of our brain. But when it's out of neccesity, such as survival, these ingenious qualities reveal themselves and help us defy odds that no other creature could defy under normal circumstances.

Exactly, survival or the need to survive makes us very creative. I think I agree that we haven't maximized the potential of our minds, and sometimes we do when we're faced with some tough challenges. It's this edge that makes us formidable against any specie that might be physically built to kill.
