I think also it's in the process we learn to better handle the results of what we're seeking for. Learning how to make money is arguably way more important than knowing what to do with the money we have. The former means we will always have the ability to make money even when all the money we have is gone for one reason or the other. This in itself can be liberating and reduce our attachments to money.
