Grammar Of Reality

That thing that doesn't have a name, but it's as tangible as the feeling you get when you place your hand above a burning fire.

No, it's not warmth, although aspects of it resemble the intensity of pure energy.

Maybe that's one of the physical manifestations that the nameless "thing" embodies and shares a close relationship with it in the grand scheme of things.

Objectifying certain subjective experiences is really hard within the confines of a language that's not universal.

Despite saying that, I don't know what a universal language is other than having realized that there are many expressions made and impressions received without the need for a spoken word.

I used to firmly believe that a language has to be spoken and without this there would be an unbridgeable gap between communities and nations.

For the most part, this is what reality currently portrays in terms of cultural misunderstandings and geopolitical divides.

I did read at a couple of places that mathematics is the universal language, and some myths have it that before the Tower of Babel incident, all humans spoke the same language.

The Unerupted Mind

Mathematics as a language is in itself inaccessible to the majority.

First of all, how do I think in math after reading in math and then speak in math?

I can't say it's impossible, but it will require a total reconfiguration of one's mental structures.

Maths is a very abstract framework, which makes it less practical for everyday communication at this point in time, given its steep learning curve and specialized nature.

Maybe the real impossibility part is the inherent lack of network effects for the language spreading beyond academic and scientific circles.

There's also this sense of foundational secrecy.

By that I mean, if Nature and the universe at large is a book, then the instruction notice of this book is written in mathematics.

Understanding maths is a foundational aspect of understanding how the universe works.

The secrecy part is you hide in plain sight what you don't want everyone or rather the "unerupted person," to see.

Here, "unerupted person" means someone who has not yet awakened to the deeper, underlying structures of reality.

The patterns and equations are everywhere to be seen for those who have the eyes to see, so to speak.

Digital Voids

On a side note, I think the advent and progression of the digital age will skew this language towards visualizations and intuitive interfaces, potentially making its underlying principles more accessible to the masses.

My mind can't also help it but think on VR worlds built on mathematical frameworks that are unnecessarily more complex than reality itself. This could also be the (re)start of another attempt(s) on bending reality to our whims.

I'm not sure whether it'll be bent forward into the future or backwards into the past or just an alternative reality that's neither forward or backwards.

Hopefully and in any case, we don't get immersed into worlds that are devoid of the Spirit.
