🎬 📹 Kimetsu No Yaiba 🎬 📹
The premiere of one of the most anticipated films of the year is almost here: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen-jō-hen or in English: Demon Slayer: The Infinite Fortress. Yes, I'm one of the fans of this series who's eagerly awaiting its premiere, and I want to share some thoughts here about what this series' journey has been like for me over the years it's been released as an anime. I remember being captivated by the first episode. It was inevitable that I would stop watching it after that. If I didn't manage to watch it completely in one day, it was because I unfortunately had things to do, but I made time to watch it. I've been following this series since its premiere in 2016, drawn in by the quality of its characters, but even more so by its compelling plot.
Falta poco para que se estrene una de las películas más esperadas del año: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen-jō-hen o en Español-Inglés: Demon Slayer - La Fortaleza Infinita. Si, soy uno de los fans de esta serie que está ansioso por su estreno y quiero plasmar aqui algunas ideas de lo que ha sido para mi el trayecto de esta serie a lo largo de todos los años que lleva saliendo como animé. Recuerdo que me atrapó con su primer capítulo. Fue inevitable dejar de mirarla luego de ello. Si no logré verla completa en un día fue porque lamentablemente tuve cosas que hacer pero definitivamente saqué tiempo para verla. Así que esta serie la he seguido desde su estreno en 2016 por la calidad de sus personajes, pero más aún por su grandiosa trama.
I imagine everyone has an idea of what's coming, and for those who don't know, don't worry, I won't say anything, except that there will be a lot of unfinished business. That's why this film is so important to so many. All this preparation, this long, long journey as Demon Hunters for so many years, decades, I'd even go so far as to say a centennial. However, we as viewers and fans only know a brief glimpse of all these lost but ongoing battles. They will show us the epic conclusion that so many Demon Hunters have dreamed of and died for.
Imagino que todos tienen una idea de lo que viene y los que realmente no saben, tranquilos que no diré nada, a excepción de que habrá mucho ajustes de cuentas pendientes. Por eso esta película es tan importante para muchos. Toda esta preparación, este largo pero largo camino como Cazadores de Demonios por tantos años, décadas, incluso me atrevería a decir que un centenario. Sin embargo, nosotros como espectadores y fanáticos, sólo conocemos un breve trayecto de todas estas luchas perdidas pero continuas. Básicamente nos mostrarán el cierre épico con el que tantos Cazadores de Demonios han soñado y muerto.
And despite not knowing much about the previous Demon Slayers, one thing is certain: They were all honorable. I'm excited about this upcoming premiere. I've been through so many tragedies with Tanjiro and his friends that I need closure for this story, and what better way to do it than with the help of Ufotable, who excel with each season and masterfully present this first film they're releasing as the grand finale. Just watching the trailer makes your heart race. I know the manga ended a long time ago, and I'm thankful that this production studio has been committed to bringing it to the big screen as an anime until its very end. On the other hand, I can't help but remember many important moments that led to this inevitable outcome.
Y a pesar de no saber mucho sobre los anteriores Cazadores de Demonios, una cosa si es segura: Todos fueron honorables. Así que no puedo evitar estar entusiasmado con este próximo estreno. He recorrido junto a Tanjiro y sus amigos tantas tragedies que necesito un cierre para esta historia, y qué mejor forma de hacerlo que de la mano del estudio de Ufotable, quienes se superan concada temporada y de manera magistral con esta primera película que van a sacar como gran final. Sólo con ver el tráiler, se te acelera el corazón. Sé que el manga ya terminó hace mucho y doy gracias porque este estudio de producción se ha comprometido con todos los fanáticos del mundo a llevarlo a la gran pantalla como animé hasta su final. Por otro lado, no puedo dejar de recordar muchos momentos importantes que llevan a este inevitable desenlace.
How can we forget the Demon Slayer applicants, who were once just children, but were somehow scarred by trauma caused by demons, just like Tanjiro and his family? These children died at a young age and couldn't do enough to prevent it, but thanks to our protagonist, they achieved some peace to continue their path on the other side. And what about seeing Nezuko in all her splendor as a demon when she fought Daki, giving her an unforgettable and memorable beating? Finally, I must not forget to mention Tengen and Rengoku, who, despite their brief fights and roles, are very special to me.
Cómo olvidar a los postulantes a Cazadores de Demonios, quienes apenas sólo fueron unos niños, pero que de alguna manera quedaron marcados por algún trauma a causa de los demonios, tal como sucedió con Tanjiro y su familia. Estos niños murieron a corta edad y no pudieron hacer lo suficiente para evitarlo pero Gracias a nuestro protagonista, alcanzaron algo de paz para seguir su camino en el otro lado. Y qué me dicen de ver a Nezuko en todo su esplendor como demonio cuando luchó contra Daki dándole una paliza inolvidable y digna de recordar. Por último no puedo dejar de nombrar a Tengen y a Rengoku, quienes a pesar de que sus luchas y protagonismos fueron relativamente cortos, para mí son muy especiales.

Este es uno de mis animes Shōnen favoritos. Incluso me atrevo a decir que es de los mejores de esta última década. Sé que su punto más fuerte es su producción y animación, pero considero que su historia y sus personajes también merecen su admiración y valoración por están muy bien desarrollados. Esta película se ve que conseguirá cumplir con las altísimas expectativas de la gente e incluso puedo apostar a que nos impresionará bastante. De qué hará historia, eso es seguro y estoy emocionado por pronto disfrutarlo cuando se estrene.
