The other day, while I was taking a walk through Barquisimeto and thinking about the immortality of the crab, among other things, I realized that I almost never share photographs taken by me. So I pulled out my phone and went into photographer mode on.

This was the result:

El otro día, mientras daba un paseo a pie por Barquisimeto y pensaba en la inmortalidad del cangrejo, entre otras cosas, me di cuenta de que casi nunca comparto fotografías tomadas por mí. Así que saqué mi teléfono y me puse en modo fotógrafo activado.

A plane was passing by and left its vapor trail. No, people, it's not a conspiracy, it's not a meteorite falling like in the movie "Don't Look Up", it's just a line of water vapor. I like the photo, but I don't really like the electrical cables, I think it takes away a little, but at the same time it adds. It's weird, I guess that's how real photographers must feel.

Algún avión estaba pasando y dejó su estela de vapor. No, gente, no es una conspiración, no es un meteorito cayendo como en la película "No mires arriba", es una línea de vapor de agua solamente. Me gusta la foto, pero no me gustan mucho los cables eléctricos, creo que le resta un poco, pero a la vez aporta. Es raro, supongo que así se deben sentir los fotógrafos reales.

The following photograph was taken when I was passing by the outside of a park whose fence decoration is the representative Obelisk of Barquisimeto.

La siguiente fotografía fue tomada cuando iba pasando por la parte exterior de un parque cuyo decorado de la cerca es el representativo Obelisco de Barquisimeto.

In this photo I wanted to play with perspective and make the decoration look very immensity.

En esta foto quise jugar con la perspectiva y hacer ver el decorado con mucha inmensidad.

Here are some facts about the royal obelisk: it is a commemorative monument for the 400th birthday of the city of Barquisimeto.

Its construction dates back to 1952 and measures 75 meters high. Currently, the spaces around the obelisk are a tourist attraction.

The city of Barquisimeto is known as the Twilight City of Venezuela. On my walk, I was able to photograph what the twilight was like that day.

La ciudad de Barquisimeto es conocida como la Ciudad Crepuscular de Venezuela. En mi paseo, pude fotografiar cómo fue el crepúsculo ese día.

It's not the greatest photo, but it's honest work. More for the fact that when I took these photographs, I just thought, "What do I want other people to see? I want them to see it the way I do." This was the result.
The orange, red and gray colors were revealed that day.

Right in that same place there was a tree and I immediately thought of Yggdrasil, the tree from Norse mythology. This is one of my favorites.

No es la gran foto, pero es un trabajo honesto. Más por el hecho de que cuando tomé estas fotografías, simplemente pensé: "¿Qué quiero que vean los demás? Quiero que lo vean como yo". Este fue el resultado.
Los colores naranjas, rojos y grises se destaparon ese día.

Justo en ese mismo lugar había un árbol e inmediatamente pensé en el Yggdrasil, el árbol de la mitología nórdica. Esta es una de mis favoritas.

These photos do not have any editing, they were taken with my cell phone with a main camera of only 50 megapixels and with basic functions. As I already mentioned, I am not an expert in photography, I am quite a beginner. But I do like to take photos from time to time, and it's also good to do something different and when we like something, we have to share it.

Estas fotos no tienen ninguna edición, fueron tomadas con mi celular con una cámara principal de solo 50 megapíxeles y con las funciones básicas. Como ya mencioné, no soy experto en fotografía soy bastante principiante. Pero si me gusta de vez en cuando tomar fotos, además, es bueno hacer algo diferente y cuando algo nos gusta, hay que compartirlo.
