The other part of tipping you didn't know

When I first saw this topic I smiled within my self because this thing called tipping ia regard as one the greatest in my country, things are hard but then all the agberos around are making it look like they can't even survive without demanding tips from people.

I mean I have seen a lot both far and near, those guys makes it their full time job to be begging for money on the streets, you easily find them on the market areas, bus stops and parks sometimes in the traffic on the highway. This set of people I will never ever consider letting out my money for.

Another set of individuals that are almost Like beggers are security men in stores, shopping centers and mall, yeah these people can beg and I'm saying it experience. I was once working as a laundry leaner in an hotel so what I see the security guys do sometimes I wonder if they don't have shame, but the funniest part is that he actually makes money just from tips, I had to engage him in a conversation asking him some questions, so told me he has been a security man from when he finished his secondary school, so he has a way of making people give him money, by just hailing and making the people feel like a boss with sweet words and names just to appease the person, I couldn't believe my ears, so he went ahead to telling me that sometimes he makes a lot of money that covers his salary (2) two time before the end of the month. My concern was how he does these things so well without shame.

The hotel I was working even me as a worker working in my own department as the laundry guy, the policy then allowed us to go interact with the client to know how abd when he needs his clothes but then I didn't use that avenue to be demanding tips from people, I make sure I deliver my job if I see that the is money I can be tempted to increase the charges because of my own interests, but I have never outrightly ask a client for joy as they do call it.
I believe in giving value before rewards, except a client willingly gives me something I don't even show concern.

Back then the place was a place where people come to enjoy, birthday parties where hosted every weekend you know so many even always happens there and permit me to say yahoo boys where always around.

I believe as a young person infact as human it is not bad to show some kind guestures but don't also try to be noticed because you always show people love,
And as an individual it's not really smart to think always running to people DM demanding for some tips will add respect to you, it demoralizes you so badly.

I think tipping should be at my own disposal having it in mind that the bill must be paid.
