When you have a good man
It is often believed in the olden days that a woman's place is in the kitchen and even till today some parts of the world still practice that even though they don't say it out loud. Our world is quickly being transformed and this is really because we changed the way of thinking. I noticed that whether success or limitations is primarily affected by the way we think. Today is a different day in my family. Yesterday I was relieved, at least thank God it's the weekend and I'll have to get some rest. Today being a whole new day I have nothing much to do but to help out with certain things that needed to be done in the family before I was done. I have already exhausted more than fifty percent of my energy.
I went to the kitchen and decided that today I'll be the one to prepare something delicious for the family but I don't just know what exactly so I just went straight to the kitchen and thought of something yummy. Immediately I remembered what everyone enjoys best, I put on my kitchen apron and covered my hair, then the rest was history because in a short time before breakfast was ready and I was the one who served the food. There's nothing good as expressing love to members of your family.
Even if your wife is the best cook or anyone else in the family handles anything concerning cooking, once in a while it is advisable to make time for your family and do something good out of the ordinary.
Today everyone was so happy to see breakfast served and most importantly that it's what everyone enjoys altogether. On my own part I feel happy because everyone is happy. Some of my friends don't believe it is good for men to know how to cook while others believe that even if men know how to cook, it is the woman in the house who should take care of cooking. Well I almost fell for it but it is good to always be supportive and more importantly express your skills by doing what you know how to do and what you enjoy doing.
The reason why some families break apart is because the man of the house will leave many family responsibilities hoping it's for the woman and that she should handle it while the woman on her own side will have many responsibilities she has also hoped that it's for the man but when you see a family where the woman brings money, cooks, do the laundry and almost every other thing in the house and the man also takes care all this same thing each time when he is around after work the result is always different.
One thing I know is that proper understanding matters in every family and in every relationship, without understanding and patience a lot of things will fall out of place. As for me I still have in mind to attend cooking classes so I can confidently be able to prepare different kinds of intercontinental dishes.
Training children in a good environment is good, an environment that is free from violence and corruption. Though these kinds of environments may seem to be scars in today's world, I know best to create such an environment. Till today I still believe the reason why I was not easily influenced to be acting like those who grew up in the same location as me is because I grew up inside one the largest compounds in the geographical location, a compound where all I needed was present and I barely even go out ordinarily unless going to school.
Lions make kills and provide food for their cubs, so also should parents try the best they can to make provisions for their offsprings even though it's no longer that easy in today's world. I believe before anyone should bring life into this world he or she will make sure to be ready to take responsibility and make sure the child should not lack the necessary things that will help in his or her growth.
