Links Cafe : Waffle, Pizza, Indomie And Coffee

Recently, there have been a lot of cafes that I just found out about in the city where I live, Medan, Indonesia, especially since the advent of social media has made us aware of many new places. Promotion on social media is very good and profitable in my opinion, especially if the cafe goes viral or 'fyp', it will definitely make the cafe busy with buyers. Although as buyers, we also have to be able to choose which one is suitable for us. And this is one of the cafes that I saw on social media, Links Cafe, that's the name. I came to this cafe with my friends when we weren't working.

Links Cafe, is a cafe that is famous for its waffles, this is the favorite menu of this cafe. And when I saw this waffle on social media, it looked very delicious and very interesting, that's why I really wanted to try it, and because of this I enthusiastically invited my friends to come to Links Cafe.

Food And Beverages Menu

The menu available at this cafe has quite a lot of choices, starting from the favorite menu here, namely waffles, there are several waffle choices available. Then there are also snacks, such as potatoes, pizza, chicken wings and others, there are also main dish such as fried rice, noodles, pasta and many more. There are also lots of drink choices, there are coffee, non-coffee and tea options, you just have to adjust it to your taste.

Let's Try It

Because there were three of us going to this cafe, we ordered some food to be shared by the three of us. We didn't order much food, starting from waffles, although for this waffle we didn't share and ordered one each. Then there is also pizza, noodles and drinks.

Cinnamon Waffles

This is the most delicious waffle I have ever eaten, a waffle with vanilla ice cream on top, and caramel sauce and sprinkled with sugar. this is so amazing. I like it very much. A perfect combination of sweet, bitter and slightly spicy flavors. The cinnamon flavor is in the waffle, if the original one is just a regular waffle and if you order a flavored waffle then there will be a difference in the waffle, at first I thought the difference would be in the ice cream but it turns out it's not like that. The waffle has a slightly soft but also crunchy texture, not difficult to cut. With the addition of the sweet taste of vanilla ice cream makes it taste even better, and the addition of sweet caramel sauce makes this perfect. I will definitely come to this cafe again because of the waffles.

And my friends, they ordered original waffles, to be honest the taste was also very delicious and not too different. But I prefer to choose and like the cinnamon waffle one.

Mini Chicken Mushroom Pizza

We also ordered a portion of mini pizza, there are two mini pizza choices here, namely Chicken Mushroom and Chicken Teriyaki. But I'm not too sure about pizza that has chicken teriyaki topping, so we prefer to order pizza with Chicken Mushroom topping. And the taste of this pizza is also very delicious, this square-shaped pizza has a thin dough, but is cooked very well so that the edges are crispy and the middle is softer. There are quite a lot of toppings, especially the mushrooms, also pieces of chicken and melted mozzarella cheese. Salty, spicy and savory are the things that can be felt in this pizza, very delicious. We will also get sauce to accompany this pizza. I like it very much. I highly recommend the pizza.

Indomie Goreng Sambal Matah Double

And the last food I ordered was Indomie Goreng Sambal Matah in Double or Jumbo size. Indomie Goreng is one of the most famous instant foods in Indonesia because of its delicious taste, and Sambal Matah is one of the typical foods from Indonesia, which is in the form of chilies and onions. When the two are combined it will produce delicious food, especially with accompaniments such as cucumber and shrimp crackers. There are two sizes for Indomie Goreng, namely Single for regular portions and Double for jumbo portions. Because this was for three people, we decided to just order a double size.

Es Kopi Links

And finally the drink, I ordered Iced Kopi Links. This is milk coffee with brown sugar which is made specially from this cafe. Honestly, this is delicious, but nothing special, this is a typical drink that can be found in other cafes. Milk which makes this drink sweet and creamy, coffee with the right bitter taste and the addition of brown sugar which makes this drink even tastier.

Even though the drinks are also delicious, but I will definitely come to this cafe again for the food.

Not only is the food delicious, but this cafe also has a beautiful and unique interior, very comfortable. However, there are things that I don't like about this cafe, namely the waiters, I had to call the waiter several times to ask for a menu, even though they weren't busy, the waiters were also not friendly. I would give a rating of 9.9/10 for the food, 8.5/10 for the interior of the cafe and 5/10 for the waiter.

And this is my story at Links Cafe, I will definitely come to this cafe again, even though the waiter is not good, I will ignore that for the sake of the very delicious food. Thank you for reading my story, see you in my other stories, byebye.
