Introduction

Hello and a warm welcome to all Hivers.
THis post will be about Godh Bharay.
Godh Bharay is a Hindi term. Which has a very difficult meaning.
It won't be difficult anymore cause i'll try to explain it in simple words in the next paragraph.

Godh Bharay

Godh bharay litterally means:
Godh: womb
Bharay: filling

That is the litterally meaning, but this ritual is when a woman is pregnant they have a prayer at home where they pray for the upcoming child to be healthy and have a good life.
After this prayer the family get the announcement and they come to the woman and gift her to have a great time during pregnancy and especially the effort she will be puting into this.

Also they have to whisper in her ears some word to give her courage and bless them.
This ritual has been there for many many years and it;s still going strong.
