Ava's Adventure (part 6)

Ava just laughed and said "You are joking, right?" Then the man's eye twitched and said "Answer my question. I am being serious." Ava laughed again and said "Well it's 2023 of course."

The man's face turned from stern to shocked in seconds. "No Ava, it's 2030. You are supposed to be 19 now. You don't look a day over 10." Ava couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Wait wait wait. So you are saying that it's 2030 now and I haven't aged!?!?" "By the way, I'm 12. I think? Ugh this is so confusing!"

Ava plopped herself onto the ground and started to cry. Ava didn't care if everyone was staring at her. She just didn't know what to do! Again, Ava had so many questions in her head. Ava managed to mumble through her tears and said "So are you saying that I went through some sort of time portal?"

"Well anyways I need your help. Back in 2023 I got pushed into a basement and then I think I went through a time portal and now it's 2030 and I haven't aged!"
