When Giving Back isn't for show off

It's another awesome week so I missed out on the first edition for this week was overwhelmed with work but am here today to partake from this very interesting topic " A little Charity"
What's giving and should I give .
Giving shouldn't be done for people to see you but it's should be done in love and it's should be genuine love not with selfish intentions.
I run a sickle cell Foundation and I will tell you for free that it's being the help of God all this even with few partners.

I believe in accountability and when we hadn't opened the NGO account fund usually came through my account and i will document the recievables expenses and amount left from what was received. Now this is me because of the passion I have for the course. And this I still do even with the NGO having it's own account now.
What we do is educate different communities about sickle cell traits and run free genotype and blood group test for most times 50,40 or 35 people the least number we had done this for is 30 persons and with God's Grace we have done this since 2019

This has helped parents manage btge cost if going to run such in the laboratory and paying so much for it.
We also run free BP and sugar check for the elderly and the pour out loads of prayers to us and our partners that make it possible for us to be able to do this.
We try to do this in different months of the year first in June celebrating the world sickle cell day which is on the 19th of June.
Then October and then in December but another thing we also do is go to schools and educate the senior secondary school students about this traits as well and we recently went to a school in the month of October and our of the bunch of the students only a few knows their Genotype.

Now if you are doing things like this you derive joy in seeing that lives are being touched by what you are doing.
Yes we have some dubious and greedy people around the world that take advantage of donations meant to do good but it ought not to be like that.
As I type we are already planning on our Christmas out reach ..
When we put smiles on the faces of people con our own little way. Because every life matters 🙏
