Throw Back to last Thursday's Birthday Outreach

Today I like to share a memorable experience that took placed last Thursday precisely. My sister has always wanted to do a medical out reach on her birthday but for some reasons which I can't explain she will cancel as her date approaches.
She did same last year but came to me afterwards telling me in her own words "Sis see this thing I canceled someone did exactly just the day before and I was ashamed for canceling my own" " sis we will definitely do it next year by God's grace it will hold..
I shouted Amennnnn.
And it held last week she even added shoes give away some people picked for themselves children and friends.
I was happy to be there to support her in checking glucose level (sugar level the body)and Blood pressure of each person that was interested to check as some people only came for the shoes and didn't want to know how good or how bad their blood pressure was. Well you really can force anyone to take care of themselves.

Now why am I sharing this throw back? This my sister has had this in her thoughts for 3 good years but she kept canceling at any sight of excuse. It be money or family issues but she pushed herself this year. .
Was there sets back? Yes there was the thing is there will always be set back no matter what you are planning to do. You will always see challenges and sometimes they will get on your way , to me I feel these things comes up to test one's faith or enthusiasm or one's eagerness in achieving the set goal.

So she told me about the challenges and I replied her we keep on the goal and as you can see in the pictures that day the 20th of November was a huge success as will post pictures below . I was down health wise but I was there despite my health challenges to stand by her, because to me that's live and sacrifice and this is like a hobby for me as the president of a sickle cell foundation I often run outreaches and do health check for the elderly that was why she always came to me when she starts planning then.
So what are you planning to do this holiday season .. Is it already looking impossible to achieve? Don't hold yourself back push for it and you will have the same feeling my sister had when it was over . That feeling can't be explained. see the smile on my sister's face . It tells it all.
Whatever way you set out to share goodies this holiday don't look at what you want to share. Look forward to the lives you will impact with Joy.
