I have a question, what would happen if we all didn't vote for witnesses for 1 day?

Blocks wouldn't be created, so there would be less hive in circulation, right?

If there were zero votes for any witnesses not sure what the result would be but:

  1. Witnesses aren't going to stop voting for themselves
  2. If blocks weren't being produced, then you couldn't vote since that is an action on chain.

Okay, so let's stop voting and we'll stop creating hives with those votes and there will be less hives in circulation, what consequence would that have, that people would have to buy them, right?

Of course it can happen, if not everyone stops voting for those witnesses.

You only vote once in a year or so before your vote expires. It can't happen because some users are not even alive if we are to remove our votes before they expire.
