Today I'm bringing you the second mission of Metal Slug Double X. To be honest, I started playing this game thinking I wouldn't like it or that I'd stop playing it soon, but the truth is, I'm hooked and I'm enjoying it like I haven't had with any other game in a while.

Starting mission 2, we found ourselves in a mine full of enemies. I immediately had to change characters because I had taken a lot of damage at the end of the previous mission. The first confrontation was against a helicopter and a couple of soldiers, which was fairly straightforward. After eliminating our first enemies, we climbed onto a platform that took us to lower levels of the mine. Once again, we encountered another helicopter, but this time with many more soldiers and shields.

After this, we'll continue down and rescue two hostages. One of them will give us a shotgun, which will make it much easier to fight soldiers with missile launchers and a tank. We'll continue moving forward, and some soldiers will appear, and we'll encounter mining carts that will throw bombs and coal at us. This won't be a problem since we still had the shotgun, and it was fairly easy to defeat them all.

As I continued on my way, some new enemies would appear: a kind of mole. Mechanics that emerged from beneath the ground and turned the ground into quicksand. Here I had a bit more trouble as I was held still several times and there were also many soldiers and bombs. After a good while of trying to destroy all the enemies, I succeeded, and upon rescuing a new hostage, they gave me a missile launcher that would help me in the next stage to fight against several heavy machines like tanks and some large machines that launch bombs that I honestly don't remember seeing. However, the missiles didn't last long, and I had to face the final stretch with the classic pistol, although the missiles had already weakened them, and I was able to destroy them. In that fight, I had to change characters because they did so much damage that it was impossible to escape unscathed.

Now came a part I really liked: I would take control of a machine with a built-in machine gun to face off against mining carts, soldiers, and heavy machines. At this point, the mission would get more action-packed and a bit more difficult. After too many enemies appeared, they were able to destroy my machine. After a good while of fighting again against a helicopter and soldiers with mortars and missiles, I was able to advance and reach the final boss of the mission.

Starting this final battle, I'd have to switch characters again. This final machine would be much more difficult than the one in the first mission. Its main ability was that it launched a large number of guided rockets, making them very difficult to evade. It would also launch laser beams and grab a piece of rock to crush. My advantage was that missiles passed on a rail underneath. When fired, they would activate and directly attack the boss. I would also have to face the pesky mechanical moles, which would make this battle even more difficult. After doing this many times, for about five minutes, and switching characters since I couldn't do it alone, I finally won and completed the mission. The truth is, it was a long and difficult battle, so far the most action-packed moment.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this rather difficult and action-packed mission, which doesn't even let you take a break. Hoy les estoy trayendo la segunda misión de Metal Slug Double X, si soy sincero empecé a jugar este juego creyendo que no me gustaría o que lo dejaría de jugar pronto, pero la verdad es que me tiene muy enganchado y lo estoy disfrutando como hacía tiempo no hacía con ningún juego.

Empezando la misión 2 nos encontramos en una mina llena de enemigos, enseguida tuve que cambiar el personaje porque en el final de la misión anterior habia recibido mucho daño. El primer enfrentamiento fue contra un helicóptero y par de soldados algo que fue bastante sencillo. Tras eliminar a nuestros primeros enemigos nos subimos a una plataforma que nos llevará a niveles inferiores de la mina. Nuevamente nos encontraríamos otro helicóptero pero esta vez mucho más soldados y con escudos.

Después de esto seguiremos bajando y rescataremos a dos rehenes y uno de estos nos dará una escopeta que nos hará mucho más facil luchar contra soldados con lanzamisiles y un tanque de guerra. Seguiremos avanzando y aparecerán aunas soldados y nos encontramos carros de mineros que nos lanzarán bombas y carbón, pero esto no será un problema ya que aún tenía la escopeta y fue un poco fácil derrotarlos a todos.

Al continuar mi camino aparecerían unos nuevos enemigo, una especie de topos mecánico que salían debajo de la tierra y hacían que el suelo se convirtiera en arenas movedizas, aquí pasé un poco más de trabaja ya que varias veces quere inmóvil y también habían muchos soldados y bombas. Tras un buen rato de tratar destruir a todos los enemigos lo logré y al rescatar un nuevo rehén me dieron un lanza misil que me ayudaría en la siguiente etapa a pelear contra varias máquinas pesadas como tanques y unas máquinas grandes que lanzan bombas que sinceramente no recuerdo haber visto pero los misiles me duraron muy poco y tuve que enfrentar el tramo final con la pistola clásica aunque ya los misiles los habían debilitado y pude destruirlos. En esa pelea ya tuve que cambiar de personaje porque me hicieron muchísimo daño y era imposible salir ileso.

Ahora vendría una parte que me gustó mucho, tomaría el control de una máquina que tenía una ametralladora incorporada para enfrentarnos a carros de mineros, soldados máquinas pesadas, en este punto ya la misión tomaría más acción y se pondría un poco más difícil. Tras aparecer demasiados enemigos fueron capaces de destruir mi máquina y luego de un buen rato de pelear nuevamente conttra un helicóptero y soldados con morteros y misiles pude avanzar y llegar al jefe final de la misión.

Empezando esta batalla final tendría que cambiar de personaje nuevamente. Esta máquina final seria mucho más difícil que la de la primera misión. Su habilidad principal era que lanzaba una gran cantidad de cohetes dirigidos haciendo que sea muy difícil poder evadirlos, también lanzaría rayos láser y cogería pedazo de roca para aplastar.
