Greetings ladies as we warm up to another weekend. And I hope many of us are still in the euphoria of the new year celebration 🎉🥂🎆.

The second question for this week’s prompt by dear @amberkashif is one I see as very timely, as regards to how everyone of us have in mind that one thing they want to attain this 2025.

Although it might still seem early on making resolutions for the year as we are just few weeks into January, but thinking 💭 about the reality of how we are gradually settling into 2025, my mind keep telling me of how important it is to have focus as I make resolutions for the year because as we said happy new year 🎆 on the first (1st) if January, 2025, , the year is already counting down.

I will say I will love to attain so many things this year because the past year 2024 was one hard and tough year due to how the global recession affected the economy causing devastation in all areas of businesses. Many of the buildings I fellowed up for sale and lease last year was hanging due to how those involved are managing their funds, looking up and believing things will improve through the year but it never did. In fact 2024 I will say was one bad of a year.

So for this 2025, I will want to pay so much attention to myself, listening to my mind with focus on how to do things without having so much expectation like I did last year. Focus is the only thing one needs especially in a world 🌎 like we have today. When we over estimate things and it never happens our way, it tends to bring our morals down. Not that we did not work hard or put enough effort from our side, but just because other unforeseen circumstances was an obstacle. External forces are things we can’t see until they surface.

I feel that we should be more flexible in taking and making decisions as regards to our resolutions for the year due to how some will be achieved and others hanging. Its not how far anymore but how well to those things we have struggled to achieve

To be more precise, taking one step before another in things I want to do and achieve this year is my strategy to avoid having too many things on hand which sometimes brings anxiety and so much stress because the mind can only function well when we are focused and moving and handling to many things at the same time is trouble on its own.

However, I can tell you that just having an easy flow as the year unfolds is the best we can give to ourselves as taking things as they come brings us peace of mind. I will want to be easy on myself, making decisions I know will not hinder my mindset nor those that will bring obstacles to keep stay focused which is my main objectives because we do not have the power to control every circumstance that comes our way and change will continue to be constant.

In conclusion, every new year brings us to a new age and years, which reminds us that we are getting older and should not continue to make mistakes we have repeated for years. Every new year should also remind us of how important we are to move forward and stay away from those things that have brought us so much pain and uneasiness, which is seen as growth that we need to know what is the best for us .
