When ever I hear people talking about kidnapping or that someone has been kidnapped, I always feel so frightened and my mind will immediately fast forward to the worst things people encounter when kidnapped. You can imagine being in the hands of those you don’t know, especially the dangerous ones who has sold their hearts ♥️ to the devil.

But this is what it is because the world is full of too many atrocities with people who do not care. The rate of various kinds of crime increasing every minute of the day. The worst being when someone suddenly goes missing. Not just going missing for nothing, because in the next few hours calls will start coming for the demand of some huge ransom. How scary 😟 has the world 🌍 become?

Just about two months ago while we were at the church for a week program, the Pastor announced of how one of our member has been kidnapped. The man in his late 50s and a director of of a big hospital in Lagos, Nigeria 🇳🇬. He was kidnapped right in the hospital compound after work and about to enter his car. We were asked to pray for divine intervention for his release. But who kidnappers someone without asking for ransom?

Then the kidnappers waited till after the first 24 hours to put the first call through to the wife if the man, demanding 20,000,000 millions. That was crazy 😜, but they were not joking because after they threatened to kill the man, his family negotiated for 10,000,000 million. Its so scary of how group of people will team up in life and be living a lifestyle as such.

And the truth is that its not a matter of being rich or poor because they do not care. And unless they have a target from a tipoff thats only when they go for some certain people. Its indeed something so shameful and ugly.

I don’t pray to ever be a victim of a missing person or being kidnapped , but one can never know how unforeseen circumstances occurs. And if I ever become a victim to kidnapping and was asked to pick a fictional character that will come to rescue me, I will make a choice by choosing Superman. Not that I don’t like other fictional characters like Flash, Dr Strange, but I indeed like superman because of his super power of knowing what is happening in places and can appear unannounced in surprise. Superman is my ideal fictional character and a hero who operates without destruction or operating by showing wickedness, but he shows up in places where you never expect because of his super-powers. So because of his super-powers I trust him to be able to locate me in any hidden place the kidnappers might have taken me to without any stress.

Those who has super powers can do lots of things under ground without many knowing, since they do not make lots of noise. They use their super power to oppress the other party which is how they achieve their motives secretly. So I know if I was kidnapped, Superman will be able to locate and rescue me with his super power without the kidnappers even knowing he is coming to the hidden location. Superman is my ideal fictional character for this kind of huge task.
