Can A Perfect Baby Be Ever Possible?

Would it be ideal or ethical if prospective parents should have the opportunity and ability to modify the genes of their babies before they are born? Would this be a great improvement? This is indeed an interesting question and at the same puzzling . But thinking deep into the question, I could say after all we are in the 21st century where AI and Innovation can make anything possible.

It will be mind blowing if I have the chance and opportunity to choose on the talents my babies will have before they were born. Although it might seem unnatural because it appears to be something so extreme since we believe only in God our Creator to give us the children he desires for us.

But who would not want a genius for a baby or children that is perfectly created and born with everything properly set to give them a good beginning in life? This could be the best thing ever that can happen in life because parents do not like what they go through with their children most times after they are born. Some babies 👶 are born with abnormalities, like disabilities. Others with some kinds of diseases that might cause them to live through pains all their lives, causing their parents to go through emotions of all kinds.

Have you ever been to the hospital, visiting children with disabilities wards? Its a place you will get to see all kinds of babies in different problems. And as long as this children are life, their parents will never rest because no one has the power to kill his or her own child because they are not normal. Its a very situation most parents can’t help.

The 21st century has changed made many things. We are living in a world 🌎 where technology has taken over every from other things which is why things keep improving. Science has also made it possible through the use of technology to help detect any illnesses through the regular check pregnant 🤰 women undergo during anti-natal before delivery of a baby. This is a very big move and opportunity for doctors to help save any baby through treatment before they are born.

And with the way the world 🌍 is going, no parents will want to bring a child into the world to suffer, so I will rather fix and modify the genes of my baby or children before they are born to avoid every complications they will face after birth, saving them the pain and saving myself from the agony and emotional stress of having to see the child suffering. This is like killing two birds 🦅 with one stone.

I have a family friend who is battling disability of a son with Down syndrome. This boy was born with this disability because science was not as improved then as it is now. This boy does not get up. He lies down completely at all times except when he wants to be fed. And the worst part being that he is the only boy among the four (4) children 👦 this family had. This is very big agony to this family, but who quarries God? Do you know how this family feels when they see the mates of this their son walking around and growing in health? Its only those who are parents that will tell you what they go through with disabled children. Its a lifestyle full of emotions and heartbreaking.

We do not want to compete with God by choosing and modifying the genes of our babies, but times has changed things. Science has improved and technology keep making things easy which is why cures are happening fast, transplants are taking place, surgeries are being carried out successfully, so why then can babies in the womb not be made perfect before there were born? I think research 🔬 has continued to improve the world 🌍 which is why everything is happening so fast.

If science can be able to detect a blood 🩸match of two individuals DNA through technology, and at the same time detect that two other individuals blood 🩸 did not match, what then are we talking about? We are not God who is making all this possible. God is using those in science to better the world 🌎 since IVF is helping women to bear their own children if they have complications getting pregnant 🤰.

Change is the only thing constant which is why things are changing. We should all be happy to decide and modify the genes of our children as parents to stop the unforeseen situation and circumstances that might lead to us living our lives in pain through the children God gave to us. Every parent should desire their children to be a future genius in any area that brings a very brighter goals and achievements since every child will be different from the other.
