I don't pay much attention to the prices, but knowing this may be a first for steem to be higher than hive, it works just the opposite with basic income upvotes, steem is always consistently higher. Maybe in these hard economic times steems more attractive to people in third world countries, where, per se, 7 or 9 cents means more to them than 2 cents.
