Different types of Cactus discovered during our Gangtok Tour (Mother Nature Heals us in the lap of her Greenery)

Last week during the visit to Yumthang Valley with my friends as due to late check-in we were unable to find out breakfast we went to a place few metres away from our hotel we found beautiful mountains plants there.

The freshness of the morning with chilly winds blowing towards our face made me forget all the worries and having judged the same with my eyes I was mesmerizing by the beauty of it.

Graptoveria Moonglow

Graptoveria Moonglow are a type of cactus which forms spreading clumps of rosette which are generally large upto 20-25 cms. During its growing season it needs regular watering to remain fresh.

Riffle jade

A type of plant which gives bonsai appeal Riffle jade plant is also known as Crassula arborescens. One can find it in mountain places , many people also grow it indoor but growing it indoor needs windows with proper sunlight.

Gollum Jade
Gollum Jade is a winter plant which also grows in cold places. It grows easily and multiplies very quickly. It grows in soil which provides proper drainage system. The plant above in the picture is in the growing stage.

Calendula

Calendula is a yellow winter flower which looks very beautiful and it can also be found in cold places. It is known as pot marigold and is also used for medicinal purposes. It is used to cure wound rashes and infections.

During our tour to Sikkim and Gangtok we found this different types of cactus and having Google the same I gathered information. All the images used above are click by my iPhone.
