The Business Side of Kumbh Mela

You know the world's biggest gathering isn't Coachella or FIFA, it's happening right here in India. Yes I'm talking about Mahakumbh 2025, where spirituality meets serious business.

This might be hard to understand but,We're talking about 400 million people, including 1.5 million foreign tourists, each spending rupees 5,000 to 10,000 INR pumping massive money into our economy. But there is something more mind-blowing,this spiritual mega-event is expected to generate 4 lakh crore in trade.

Just so you know that is not a typo, Rs 40,000 crore just from hotels and stays, Rs 20,000 crore from food and beverages, another Rs 20,000 crore from religious items, even IT services will make Rs 1,000 crore.

And because of it several companies are spending Rs 3,000 crore just on marketing so that they can take a share out of the 4 lakh Crore Trade that takes place in the Mahakumbh Mela.
