Hello to all members of this community and cat lovers! On Valentine's Day, what better way to celebrate than by looking at photos of our beloved feline companions? I spent the week collecting as many pictures as I could of Cleo and Ying with what would be their new "nest": a quilt. I don't know where it came from; I imagine my mother brought it home during one of her visits, and perhaps one of my siblings thought it would be a good idea to leave it for the pampered pets of the house.

At night, both cats seek warmth, so they usually sleep with us. But during the day, you can see them lying comfortably on their nest, so relaxed that they groom themselves without a care in the world. When they do that at the same time, I find it adorable. I remember when Cleo first arrived, she would just let Ying lick her, and when she tried to imitate him, it was clear she struggled because she was so small and Ying was gigantic in comparison. So, her grooming attempts were rather clumsy. Now, however, it's a task they can both do perfectly.

Ying is the type of cat that prefers to be on surfaces. If you cover him up, he'll almost certainly try to get away after a little while. As for Cleo, I have noticed that she likes to get under the covers to play. I even managed to capture the moment when she was playing under the blanket and Ying was even swiping at that strange moving lump! It was so funny to watch! 😆

Of course, one advantage of placing the quilt in that area of ​​the hallway is that the sun's rays tend to shine there at certain times in the morning. Ying always used to sit and sunbathe there when that happened, and now she can do so, next to baby Cleo, on a comfortable surface. Watching them nap in the warm sunshine makes me feel like I'm living a thousand years 🤗☀️

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los gatos! En el día del amor y la amistad ¿Qué mejor que contemplar fotografías de nuestros queridos y amados compañeros felinos? En mi caso, me encargué de recolectar a lo largo de la semana, todas las fotografías que pude de Cleo y Ying, con lo que sería su nuevo "nido": Una colcha. No sé de dónde salió, me imagino que mi madre la trajo en una de sus visitas y de pronto, alguno de mis hermanos pensó que era buena idea dejárselas a los consentidos de la casa.

Por las noches, ambos gatos van a buscar calor, así que suelen dormir con nosotros. Pero, cuando ya es de día, puedes verlos acostados cómodamente sobre su nido y hasta están tan relajados que se acicalan sin preocupaciones. Cuando hacen eso al mismo tiempo, me parece algo adorable, pues recuerdo que cuando Cleo llegó, simplemente se dejaba lamer por Ying y cuando buscó de imitarlo, se notaba que le costaba hacerlo, pues era muy pequeña y Ying, era gigantesco en comparación con ella, así que se trataban de acicalamientos "torpes" de su lado. Más ahora, se trata de una tarea que ambos pueden hacer a la perfección.

Ying es el tipo de gato que prefiere estar sobre las superficies. Si lo arropas, es casi seguro que al ratito, buscará de apartarse. En cuanto a Cleo, si he visto que le gusta eso de meterse debajo de las sábanas para jugar. Hasta pude capturar el momento en que jugaba debajo de la colcha y hasta Ying le daba de zarpazos a ese bulto extraño que se movía ¡Fue tan divertido de ver! 😆

Por supuesto, un punto a favor de que la colcha sea colocada en esa zona del pasillo, es que los rayos del sol suelen apuntar a ese espacio a determinadas horas de la mañana. Ying siempre se sentaba a recibir sol en ese lugar cuando eso ocurría y ahora, puede hacerlo, junto a la bebesa Cleo y sobre una superficie cómoda. Verlos tomar una siesta bajo los cálidos rayos del sol, me da mil años de vida 🤗☀️
