three weeks have past since surgery ....

Good day ,

It's already 3 weeks since i had my appendix surgery , and i'm finally of the pain killers still not as fit as i used to be but we have all the time in the world to heal and recover .

The Tumor that they also removed with the appendix was already calcified so it must have been there for several years , but the doctors still want to do more research , but i disagree with them so it's not going to happen .

Since the recovery is not going as fast as i hoped i still need to rely on my archive footage to create posts , but with a big archive it shouldn't really be a problem .

And starting tomorrow i will be driving the wive to work and back again , so i might actually get a chance to take some photos again outside .

But for today i picked a couple of bird photos from the past months to share with you beside my story of my well being .

all images are taken with the Sony A7Iv camera .

1 ) Wood pigeon on a lamp post

Sony 24-105mm F4.0 G OSS lens

2 )

Sony 24-105mm F4.0 G OSS lens

3 ) Eurasian coot screaming for it's mother slightly cropped image

Laowa FF 15mm F4.5 1:2 Macro lens

4 ) same Eurasian coot full size image

Laowa FF 15mm F4.5 1:2 Macro lens

5 ) Another wood pigeon sitting on the roof on the other side of the street

Sigma 150-500mm F5.6 HSM DG lens

6 ) and finally a Phasianus colchicus / Common pheasant a male slightly cropped image , i need to get back to that area with the 150-500mm lens one day when i'm able to drag all that extra weight with me again.

Sony 24-105mm F4.0 G OSS lens

7 )Common pheasant again full size image taken at 105mm , with a tripod and the 500mm lens i would have had a lot better photo but sometimes you have to use what you got .

Sony 24-105mm F4.0 G OSS lens

I hope i can build up my photography pace again and my walking pace , time will tell , untill then i try to post at least once a week if possible with updates .

Still have two targets to reach but that will have to be done in September i guess , lost to much time due to surgery , one target was getting rep 70 the other one was making it to dolphin , o well September will be the month for that i guess .

That is all for now , untill we meet again .

Good to see you're on the way back up. My Mother had a similar surgery recently for similar reasons. Still not fully out of the deep end yet but the first procedure already has her feeling better.

the doctors still want to do more research , but i disagree with them so it's not going to happen .

Do a checkup in a few months at least to see how things are. Better to be safe. And if there's something more to deal with at least it can be addressed. Take care of yourself

For me the most important thing is to recover to the same health condition as i was before the surgery before i talk to any doctor again :)

Hi, I am glad that you are in better health.
It's good that you're getting better, it doesn't matter that it's little by little, the important thing is that you heal bien.Es good that you can leave the house now, even if it's to take your wife to work back and forth, that's going to help you a lot.
The pictures are very sweet, my best wishes.

but the doctors still want to do more research , but i disagree with them so it's not going to happen .

I would do exactly the same thing! It made me laugh, but it's true, I would do the same.

This photograph is my favourite, it's beautiful.

And you'll get back into the swing of things and achieve your goals, I'm sure you will. Hugs!
