Playing with another new toy

Yesterday i finally bought a new camera, the Sony A7IV it's 2 generations newer then my Sony A7II .

Downsides :

  • Files are not compatible with my Lightroom version, so now i'm testing with differend software .

  • My Sony LA-ea4 adapter for my old Sony / minolta A-mount lenses is no longer supported as AF only MF

  • Battery charging takes way longer

plus sides :

  • More mega pixels had 24 now have 33
  • 4k filming hardly use it yet , but who knows what happens in the future
  • back side monitor can flip now in all directions , very handy for macro
  • 2 card slots so more room for timelapse photography
  • better in body stabilasation also very handy with macro
  • better auto focus system [ i know i hardly use that since most lenses that i own are MF ]
  • Package deal came with a Sony 24-105mm F4 OSS lens that i can use on all 3 e-mount cameras that i have .

So this morning i took the new camera and the LAOWA FF 15mm F4.5 lens for a walk , since the new sony lens will be deliverd later today .

1 ) white clover flower

2 ) Flowering gras under the oak tree

3 ) Chamerion angustifolium / fireweed / rosebay willowherb

4 )

5 )

6 ) Daucus carota / wild carrot / Queen Anne's lace

7 ) some grasses are a bit higher

8 ) standing on this bridge over the canal , there is a path beside it maybe next time , you can find the area on google maps : https://maps.app.goo.gl/p4cW5FM9etSrGX848

9 )The other side of the bridge , and still hardly any insects found here kind of strange , almost as if the farmers killed everything with pesticides.

10 ) and i spotted this area too , on my way back to the car , will be explored in the future , now i need to get home and see the results and get some coffee .

no editing done only leveling horizon when needed .

That is all for today

(Edited)

I'd do the same if I wasn't running around so much. I do miss the raw power of my desktop sometimes. The macbook is great for editing on the go though, still definitely overpriced :^)

Hello, good morning.
It's true, there are times when you go out with the camera and people feel uncomfortable and sometimes curious.
It happened to me before, when I had my professional camera.
Now, I take photos with the phone and with an 8 megapixel Nikon Coolpix, which apparently intimidate people less.
But still, sometimes, I have to ask them for permission to take photos at their address or where they are.
To avoid problems, and to prevent them from feeling that I violate their privacy.
And there are other photos that you take, without them noticing, that are great.
Part of the job of taking pictures, I say.
My best wishes.

Great photos, man. They look like they're from a movie. Is it the lens, or is it just me?

The second-to-last photo is my favorite; natural landscapes always interest me.
