A walk in the church garden for wednesday walk
While i was waiting for my wife at her workplace i decided to walk arround in the garden of a local church no idea what they preach and honestly I don't really care.
I came for the flowers and to do some macrophotography, and not to confess about any downvotes 😜😜
Unfortunitly there was a strong wind so 60% of the images got trashed.
Never te less still plenty of gems to share with you .
The first i flower i came across was these flowering clover
The next flower i found was this white Hydrangea Quercifolia
they also had these flowering shrub Hypericum calycinum / rose-of-Sharon
Hypericum 'Hidcote'
and another variety the Hypericum erectum / goatweed but non of them had any insects on them
Pink dianthus / carnation
Phlomis russeliana / Turkish sage
Finally something was buzzing in the Campanula glomerata / clustered bellflower
and it was gone again ...
and we found it again
hidden within the flower.
and it actually sat stil for a moment so i was able to make some decent shots,
although the wind was trying hard to spoil that moment for me
and it was ready to fly away again
And it was gone again
or not ....
Roof line of a school building behind the church , probably a religious school in the past , don't really think they educate religion anymore here in Holland.
Hydrangea arborescens / smooth hydrangea
Echinacea purpurea / hedgehog coneflower
Hypericum 'Hidcote'
well atleast they have modern lights to illuminate the building, very big LED .
there was a border filled with Geranium bohemicum
changing the aperture to f2.8 to capture some soft images .
I know about this pink contest where you can win 6000 Ecency points ...

back to the flowers ....
Another Hydrangea pink this time ...
and on the other side of the path there was a slightly darker variety .
then there was this border filled with Hosta clausa
and then there was nothing more untill i was back at the entrance i spotted this
Rudbeckia hirta / black-eyed Susan
well that was my walk for the #wednesdaywalk this week ,
enjoy your humpday .
