Tiring Friday but I'm Happy with My New Shoes

What a tiring Friday. The parcel came just in time to motivate me do my chores for the day. I scheduled this day for cleaning my bathroom, however, I remembered that I have no foods prepared for breakfast and dinner. Food is a priority and I don't want to starve myself so I'm postponing the cleaning on the next day.

I cooked the instant mac n' cheese that has been lying unnoticed for a very long time and fried the leftover bacon I have on the freezer for several months already. I sliced the bacon in tiny pieces and sprinkled it on top of the pasta and dusted some dried parsley for aesthetic. Lol. The box of mac n' cheese is quite a lot in serving and I was able to divide it into three servings.

In the afternoon, I began preparing the ingredients for my dinner. I was initially thinking of frying the remaining dumplings in the freezer but upon checking my tofu in the fridge, it looked like it was about to spoil so it's a no-brainer that I have to cook the tofu soon. I decided to cook Tofu ala King. Thank goodness I post the recipes here because I can't find it on my files.

I made the recipe special this time by adding cheddar cheese and more milk! I also added vinegar so the sauce doesn't spoil quickly. Making this food is taxing but the taste is so worth it!

Then after eating dinner, I proceeded with making a jelly cake canvas. And I think it's true when you seem to be busy that's the time people would suddenly appear and need your attention. Just like earlier on the day where I suddenly got an inquiry about the jelly cakes I make. I'm not sure if the customer would push through the order so I went on and made a jelly cake canvas. I can't wait to decorate it on the next coming days!

Of course, all of this tiring activities drained my energy but I quickly recovered after my parcel arrived around lunch time. I finally had the time to unbox it after the hours of cooking and making the cake canvas.

I was praying the shoe size I chose was correct. I have to check severeal times if the measurement I had with my foot was correct.

It's the biggest downside when purchasing shoes online. You can't test it right away. You have to really be accurate with your measurement to avoid purchasing the wrong size.

This is my first not-so-cheap shoes. I have this mindset back then that purchasing expensive and original branded shoes is just a waste of money. You'll just use it to step on the ground. Why does it have to be pricey? Right? Until I got a bit disappointed with the shoes I bought last December. Well, the shoes isn't an imitation but still affordable. That shoes felt comfortable except on th toe area so I decided to check threads on social media on which shoes are comfortable to wear. A lot have vouched about this specific shoes so I gave it a try.

I must say, this shoes was indeed comfortable. It felt light on the feet and there's a wide space on the toe area which I am looking for in a shoe.

No regrets with this purchase! I think I would be using this for long walks because I read people say they wore it on their vacation in Japan, a country where long walks is a norm, and it made their walking adventure comfortable.

Now I understand why people prefer or dream of having a pricey footwear. I thought it was just for fashion but these shoes prove that it's not just about how it looks but how it makes your feet comfortable while walking.

I also saw this number while watching a noontime show. It's a special number for me so I have to take a photo of it.
