Slaying the Day with A Film, Haircut, and Parcels!

Hello! Rainy evening, everyone! Not feeling so well today but I'm really happy because I'm still consistent with my sleeping schedule. I can feel my head getting heavy as I'm writing this post so I'll just make it quick. I miss reading posts here too so I'll drop by to some posts tomorrow.

The reason why I wasn't able to visit on Hive last week was due to binge watching Demon Slayer's season 2 to 4 just so I could watch the film on its first screening day. As a certified anime binge watcher back in the day, Demon Slayer was a piece of cake. Lol.

I finished the episodes morning of the 20th. I'm so ready for Infinity Castle! However, my only problem is that I got notified that one of my online orders was already out for delivery. Good thing it was delivered just a few minutes before I left the house.

I was supposed to go out an hour before the first screening time to do some window shopping. However, I ended up trying the item I bought online and lazed around for a couple of minutes.

I should've ridden a tricycle then maybe I got there earlier. The jeepney waited for almost 10 minutes to fill the seats.

There was only five minutes left before the film begins when I arrived. And by the time it was my turn to purchase a ticket, I looked at their clock and there was only about two minutes left. Yikes! I immediately decided to just take the next available time because there were still people lining up behind me and the staff seemed to be on a rush.

After securing a ticket, I proceeded to enter the mall's department store and really took my time to window shop. Lol. I was quite tempted to buy a blouse because most of them are on a promo but after deliberating with inner self, I decided not to purchase and just moved on to look for a gift for the birthday of my friend's daughter the next day.

After successfully purchasing a gift and some socks for myself, I continued walking around the mall for a few minutes more before I finally headed to the salon. I'm really hesitant to go to this branch because the last time I visited here, the hairdresser was recommending to have my hair dyed and would always point out not to tie my hair. Lol. But it seems like he's no longer on this branch because his photo is no longer at their list of hairdressers.

The lady at the front desk asked me to pick my hairdresser but also suggested that they could choose whoever is available. I don't want to think much about it so I agreed with the random hairdresser. I'm lucky it was the hairdresser whom I am also familiar with since she was already able to cut my hair before. I like her aura and I felt comfortable while she cut my hair. After putting their secret hair oil, she recommended that I purchase their hair oil because my hair was too dry. Well, if I don't have a hair oil on the way, I could've purchased theirs.

And speaking of the hair oil I purchased online, I checked its delivery status before I entered the salon and it was already out for delivery. I was really worried that they'd call me while I'm inside the cinema during an intense fight scene so I'm praying that they call me soon.

I sat on the vacant bench near the cinema for 30 minutes more as I wait for the film schedule. And 30 minutes before the show began, I went to the comfort room to prepare my bladder because I don't want to miss any scene later on. I hurried to purchase popcorn and a bottle of water before lining up to the cinema.

The line already stretched outside the premises of the cinema as people were already getting ready to come in. While on the line, I observed that most of the people around waiting to watch the movie were students. Yikes!

The line began moving forward some minutes later and I tried my best to take a photo of the posters when I walked pass it. I took a couple of shots and hoped I got at least one decent photo.

Yipee! Finally, entered the cinema! I'm thankful a staff assisted me to find my seat. I was able to settle and made myself comfortable on my seat faster.

Are you someone who prefers eating while watching? Well, not for me. I can't concentrate on the show while I'm eating so I hurriedly ate my popcorn when the show began to roll. I was able to focus for the next two hours.

I'm really lucky that the delivery rider didn't bother to call me. I immediately unboxed my parcel as soon as I got home because I'm excited to use these hair and skincare items. I've been dying to try them ever since! Would you like a review of these items?

Anyway, I'd say seeing the movie on the big screen was worth it. The animation was outstanding as expected from ufotable. I've loved them since Fate Zero days! And as someone who still hadn't read the manga, I have no idea what happens on the movie which is why I was surprised when the last minutes of the movie was a lovestory. Lol. I was like, huh? But I quickly adapted to the mood and was teary-eyed at some point.

I'm not a big fan of Demon Slayer, to be honest, and one of my motivation to watch the first season few years ago was due to LiSA doing the opening song. Lmao. But I must admit the story of Demon Slayer isn't that bad. Characters were also designed nicely and each significant characters on the first part of the film had their super cool moment. The sound of the crows were also funny as hell. I also like the character Inosuke. He's like the derpy version of Zaraki Kenpachi.

I enjoyed watching the film and was entertained on its entire run so I would say it deserves the hype it's receiving right now. It also deserves getting nominated for oscars, if the news circulating on social media is true.

I don't want to spill spoilers for those who haven't read the manga nor seen the movie yet so I'm gonna end my post here. Good night!!!

Thanks for reading! 💚

Going to the hairdresser for your hair care along with a haircut is really a great information. Easy to shop and really fun to spend some time with Popcon. Thanks for sharing such a fun time with us. Great delivery timing.
