Grateful for My Brother for Supporting My Cravings!

Happy weekend, everyone! I hope you are having a great one! How often do you thank God or the universe for the good things happening in your life? Actually, we can also be thankful for the unfavorable things because it awakens us to do better and wiser actions and decisions.

So let this post be a gratitude and appreciation post for my brother who has always been so considerate to get me the foods I crave whenever there is one near his destination. Unlike other brothers who appear tough, my brother belongs to the soft and quiet men. However, he is reliable, funny, and a one call away brother. And also unlike other brothers who would burst in anger, I'd never seen him get very mad. He would just sigh and frown then move on. Back in Manila, he would accompany me back to our rented airbnb and made sure I'm safe before he leaves for work even if it means being late for some minutes.

Well, you might think he's the perfect brother. He isn't. Everyone has their own flaws but maybe I'd chose him again to be my brother on my next life. Lol! Why am I shedding tears while writing this post, I just want to share my favorite chicken wings which my brother helps me get it because it's not available in our province.

Here's the chicken wings! Haha!

Four Saturdays ago, during the height of the Demon Slayer film in the Philippines, he went to get a medical certificate for his new work. Luckily, it was at a mall complex which has a branch of Frankie's.

He had his check up early in the morning and he was done right before the mall opens. He had to wait a couple of minutes before the mall opens.

I guess he was happy to see a Tanjiro cosplayer also waiting for the mall to open and so he took a picture to show me. He's a big fan of Demon Slayer and even convinced me to continue watching the series.

He told me he was the first and only person at the food court when he arrived and the staffs of some stores were looking at him. Lmao! This photo he sent was so refreshing to the eyes because Frankie's usually always has a long line of customers. I want to experience an empty food court at Moa as well! He also sent videos on his way to the food court and there were no other people walking around and the surroundings was really quiet.

He also ate his early lunch after, before heading to the bus station to go home. He reached home late afternoon and handed me the food. After a bathroom break and resting for a few minutes, he left and went home to his family.

I think it's nice that Frankie's write some words of encouragement on their paper bags. Frankie's does not only satisfy one's cravings but also inspires you to love yourself.

I ordered the garlic parmesan flavor which I think is their best flavor. I've already tried four of their chicken wing flavors and the garlic parmesan still stands out for me.

I actually prefer not to eat it right away. I don't know why but I like to eat it after it was reheated. It tastes better than dining in and eating it freshly cooked. My brother's long travel was really an advantage for me. Lol.

Just like on their rice meal, I took three pieces and reheated it for two minutes.

I cooked rice and had lots of it on my plate because I know my appetite would get activated with these three pieces of chicken wings. I also noticed that they are more generous with the food gloves and napkins for take out orders. The last time we dined in at the same branch, they only gave us one piece of napkin each.

I'm hoping to try the other flavors someday. Of course, I'm also looking forward to try the chicken wings from other stores which people talk about for comparison.

Again, I'm thankful of my brother for bridging me to one of my favorite foods! If not for him, it would take me another year or two before I could taste this goodness of a chicken again.
