Lots of great suggestions here. Just make sure whatever you do make sure to have adequate airflow, ventilation, and if not growing an auto, have the ability to make your space have uninterrupted darkness for 12 hours while in flower.
My biggest suggestion is to post all your stuff here in our community, with good written detail, and pics. That way you can earn enough eventually to buy a decent light. Which is the biggest expense to grow good herb indoors. I used my earnings to buy a 600$ bar style LED back in the day when I grew. It can be done:)
I already have the lights. I'm an electrician by trade. Just a single parent so money is kinda tight and growing isn't in the budget until it gets profitable. I do however appreciate the input. It's all welcome. The more disposable income I have the more I can invest into it.
Right on! You know my first indoor grow ever was in my hallway closet. I just kept the door cracked to allow air flow. It was already painted white, so basically it was a plug and play type of situation. I can’t believe I did not think of that at first. It’s been so long I suppose. But good luck on your grow journey, I hope to see you around more 💪
Fucking genius. I will build a little grow space out of some scraps I used to make a bed frame for myself. Do you have any suggestions on minimal dimensions? I don't want to damage the plant, mold, etc. I ordered some seeds and had them delivered the other day. I'll post about them later today.
I would do something small. 2.5x 2.5 feet -3x3 feet that way you don’t have to worry about more light. But really it’s up to you. And also a matter if you have enough lighting to cover a large canopy.
Whats your best germination technique?
Wet paper towel in a zip lock baggie, or place it on a plate, and cover the top with another plate. Make sure to keep it warm, and dark. Once you see the tap root, place into soil
Will do that this evening.... Just got home from work.
