Feedback on May InLeo performance.

There was a lady who loved to create lessons from her life happenings in the form of stories that captivated people and add a touch of humour. Soon, she got frustrated for some personal reasons and stopped writing completely. About a year later, she was introduced to the InLeo community on Hive where there were prompts to write on and share with interested readers, and also get rewarded for quality writing. She struggled to write at first because her creative part had been abandoned for a while, so for the first month, she hid her face away so that her struggle to bring back her creative self wouldn’t be discovered by the InLeo community.

About a month later after inconsistently writing on the Hive platform, she decided to start with the prompts unready anyway and grow while at it. Now, here she is, effortlessly writing over 500 words on topics she would’ve found difficult to write on if she had not started. She most likely wouldn’t have been able to think of creating topics in that direction on days she struggled to create topics of her own.

I joined writing consistently on the Inleo monthly prompt for May midway, after carefully running away. Thanks to my brother @moremoney28 who introduced me to the prompts and gave me all the courage I needed to get started, and @mikechrist for his frequent engagement. At some point, I got stuck on topics to write about on Hive, and InLeo prompts had come to my rescue countless times. Thanks to the Inleo team for doing the tough part of the thinking on our behalf. So, all I needed to do was develop on the topics they brought.

I have been able to write on both familiar and unfamiliar topics and adequately put my storytelling skills to use while writing on the prompts for May, and I can say that my creative storytelling part is been gradually coming back up, thanks to the InLeo prompts.

I hate Twitter attraction. I hate to get caught in the web of banters and drags on twitter, so I had always run away from posting there. But somehow, threading about my writings on the Inleo prompts on Twitter to gain traction has reduced my fear of the web 2 platform as I can now post without the fear of getting dragged on twitter for saying something that are not factual because writing on the prompts require researches and quality writing to get curated.

My time on writing on InLeo prompts for the month of May has been rewarded and I am super excited to join the train for the month of June.

I have been able to explore communities that I never knew existed on the platform, and maybe I never would’ve thought of exploring them because it would be difficult for me to suddenly think up topics to post in those communities. So, InLeo prompts has directly opened my eyes to see beyond the communities I already knew existed on Hive, and positively, it has greatly contributed to my growth on Hive generally.

Even though at some point, I couldn’t publish my prompts using the InLeo frontend because my posts kept disappearing, it was exciting to see the issue get resolved within a short period of time and I could get back to using Inleo frontend to publish posts with zero hassle.

I look forward to joining the prompts for the month of June while wishing that no new bugs will make my posts disappear so much and make it difficult to use the frontend again.

This is my entry to the May #inleo prompt for today. You can see the details here and also look forward to joining for next month whether you get caught in the trap of creative topics blocks or not. The topic for today is feedback about the inleo performance for the month of May.

All thanks to @hive that created a platform where skill where we can put our unpopular skills to good use.
And I'm glad back to the writing and overcame all of the phobias that came with it.
