Follow The Tipster - Sunday, 25th June, 2023

Hello again one and all,

Royal Ascot 2023 is consigned to the record books, and we get back to the more everyday racing action. With it being Sunday, there are just three meetings to entice us to spend our money on yet another scorching day in the sun. Hexham gets the ball rolling at 1:45pm, with Ffos Las next up from 2:00pm, and finally Pontefract rounds up the action starting at 3:45pm. That gives us a total of twenty-one races to try our luck and pick a winner or two.

Recap - Saturday, 24th June, 2023

No winner for us yesterday, with Orazio finishing 6th, although not far behind the leaders, just didn't quite have the pace to get closer.

Cheeky Extra Bet

The testing continues on the back of an excellent return yesterday with both selections coming home winners.

Another success for Renegade Racing in advising a top 3 finish for Highfield Princess who duly obliged finishing 3rd, doubling our money into the bargain.

Today, however, the advised bet is again a strange one to comprehend. He's given two selections, essentially at varying levels of confidence, and going against the odds on favourite, namely:

14:45 Hexham – Imperial Data – 0.70 point win @ 3.75 (General)
14:45 Hexham – Monty Nevett – 0.30 point win @ 8.50 (General)

Obviously both can't be winners, and i see little point in backing both, unless one is an each-way pick, which with 12 runners would have been a feasible option for Monty Nevett, but the advice suggested a win bet, and whilst doing both could cover the losing bet, I wasn't entirely convinced that was the thing to do. As such, I gave a lot of thought as to how I would play this and in the end went with the second of the two suggestions. My bookie, again, doesn't accommodate the fractional points advised at my stake level - which was a big factor in the decision, so I've taken my standard 1 point win (£0.10 stake) for this bet.

And finally...

That about wraps it up for another day,

Hope you all have a great day and rest of the weekend, and hope you find some success in your day, whether that be in the sports world or otherwise. And as usual if you follow the picks or go against them let me know, you never know there may be a reward coming your way with some SPORTS tokens.

Until tomorrow

Steve
