Interesting fungi find. This multicolor gill polypore (Lenzites betulina) is on a log that recently rolled over. The result is the top and bottom of the mushroom are both visible.

After the log rolled over, new multicolor gill polypore began growing again.

Close up of exposed gills that are now decaying. By the way, I am a fairly inexperienced fungi enthusiast so I'm open to anyone correcting my ID 😊

Interesting thats for sure. Fungi posts are a lot of work for me because I have to research what fungi I took a picture of lol I'm such a newbie
