Winter sunrise at the lake

Lucked into some nice colors on this mornings walk 🙂

Still some snow cover.

Up a little higher in the mountains, the snow cover is heavier.

The lake is iced over and covered in snow. Some people have been cross country skiing on the lake. Before the snow, some skaters were out. Ice fishermen are out. But mostly on the weekends, you know the damn job slows them down a little during the week lol

I also like watching the ice fisherman to see how they set up. Some have temporary shelters that are basically tents.

Others have huts that are like little camper trailers that they haul out on the ice with snow mobiles or ATVs.

You can put out up to eight tip-ups so the fisherman have little routes they set up. A couple of guys in a hut and you can have alot of fishing lines out there.
