Vermont colors
Got some shots at Sugarhill Reservoir that were too good not to share right away.
I was fishing but the colors were better than the fishing.
I've been busy this summer. Several trips, hiking, fishing, gardening, other yard work. Taking pictures but haven't taken time to share.
I was surprised at how good the colors were so I wanted to share. I caught "golden hours" which really made the colors pop. This is straight from the camera, no editing.
This is the best fishing spot where Sucker Brook comes into the south side of the lake. I decent hike around the lake but as you may have noticed the water levels are low so getting around the shore is easy. Normally you would need to go out into the woods. What a beautiful setting 🙂
I wanted to check in with my regular followers. No worries here. Life is good in Vermont.

I would like to open my window every morning, facing such a landscape, rather than the cold, gray concrete of the metropolis.

Thanks. Garden good this year. Starting to fill the fridge and freezer. Pickles, soups, some zucc bread, some roasted veggies. Had a great year with berries too earlier on. Even had a couple of apples from our young trees.

Nice colors... This weekend I went to the Laurentians. The trees are really beautiful at this time of year. And what's more, the fall weather is really nice. It must be the same on your side of the border ?

Hoping to make a couple trips up into Vermont on the next couple weekends and were hoping to hit color as we went.
I saw that in one of your posts. The lake I took these photos at is at 1770 ft. The color is still up on the mountains. It will come down and be peak over the few next weeks.
Already changing, stuff is still green here. Better get. To canning all your garden harvest hopefully you have some harvest photos soon.
Lots of stuff put away already - soups, salsa, pickles, frozen blueberries, frozen zucc bread, ...
