Mountain view

My new favorite photo is this view of Mount Moosalamoo from across the frozen Lake Dunmore.

I've taken this photo many times this winter.

The mountain changes with lighting due to time of day and also weather conditions.

The mountain is truly different everyday.

We walk down to the lake twice a day so I accumulate a lot of these photos 🙂 The walk is about 1.25 miles each way. Its an important part of our daily routine and exercise so we try to do it everyday. We have only taken one full day off this winter last week when the windchills were -17F. We upgraded our winter gear with long underwear, balaclava, good gloves and warm boots. Plus we have micro spikes that we can strap over our boots when its icy. We also have some snowshoes we can borrow but those are mostly just for fun. We only wear those throught the woods when the snow is good.
