McCarthey Plaza in Salt Lake City
Mural by Traci O’Very Covey in McCarthey Plaza on the side of the Eccles Theater.
A couple of other murals are also on the plaza. This is on the back of Eva's Bakery.
Researching online... this mural is signed TC 21. Looks like same artist had a previous mural on this site also.
No idea about the Cat Olympics... but I did get a coffee and kouign-amann at Eva's - my favorite bakery in Salt Lake City.
Final mural on McCarthey Plaza is on the back of the Lady Bag.
This mural is a take on Dancers in the Classroom by Edgar Degas. The robot dancer was added in. Reminds me a little of Dot Matrix in Spaceballs lol. The depression era crowd of onlookers in the windows was also added in.

Great murals! I've never spent any time in Salt Lake. The Degas+robot is interesting!
Thanks! my son is living in Salt Lake right now. Lovely mountain city.
Very cool selection of StreetArt especially the last one. I never thought one day I'd read a sentence containing Edgar Degas and Spaceballs 😀 but you're right. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
There is more to Salt Lake City than people expect haha
!LOL
Cool murals, you have a talent for painting
Thanks but I'm just taking the photos
