Fleet Block mural

In response to George Floyd's murder in 2020, Fleet Block become a gathering place for the protests in Salt Lake City. The mural memorializing those lost was a part of those protests.

The city put together a healing plan explained in this sign.

The community is being involved in the development plans.

A few protests signs are included among the faces.

I am going to show each face with their name in the spirit of the memorial.

There are a few tributes and some flowers along the mural. It was early spring when I took this photos. There are hopefully more flowers now.
