Crocuses
Crocuses are up! Spring is here 🌼 actually the snow drops are the first flowers up in Vermont but I don't have any of those around my houses.
We have lots of these lovely variegated purple crocus.
Also some yellow and white crocus but I really like the purple ones.
The great thing about corcuses are they come up early and a little snow or cold snap doesn't bother them. These are a little rough around the edges but opened right back up after the recent snow and ice.
We have been planting bulbs like crazy since we moved into our current home.
Lots of beds that we just covered in mulch.
Its been a lot of work because under the mulch is sometimes straight up gravel and some times rocky mix but never any decent soil.
We have to dig that out and put in soil everywhere we plant. But hey the payoff is nice 🙂
Spring! It will be garden time very soon!
I have seedlings started in the garage plus garlic and onions in the garden. Blue berries buds look about ready to open. So exciting!
It's my favorite time of year!
The flower pictures are wonderful.
Thanks. Can't wait for the other flowers to get going
Nice! The daffodils are starting to pop up around here. But that's it so far...
My daffodils are up but have a ways to go. I'm in the woods so don't have the best sun until its straight overhaed in the summer.
Ah, good to hear Spring is here!
I noticed a few of these when I got back from AZ here too. I'm sure we're quite a bit warmer though (beware the tornadoes this time of year).
Tornado season yikes. We don't get many here fortunately.
The flowers are so beautiful, I have never seen flowers like this before.
Thanks 👍
Beautiful! We do have similar plants here, wonder if they're the same species. !BEER
Thanks. They may actually grow in nature where you live, here we have to plant them.
I'll try to remember to investigate! ;)
