3.14 Pi Day
Happy Pi Day! March 14 is 3.14 at least in the US.
Even if you format dates different where you live, do you really need an excuse for a nice apple pie?
Celebrate math and delicious desert. Macoun apples for this home made pie courtesy of my wife 🙂
Since it is a celebration, might as well go all the way with a scoop of ice cream.

We always eat "pizza pi" on pi day. 31.4% off pizzas at Papa Murphys! I used to work in the cadet area at the USAF Academy. Every Pi Day, the math club gave out free slices of pie. The last time I participated was 3-14-15 at 9:26:53...pi to ten digits!
10 digits! impressive. Thats a mike drop moment. Walk away.
Now you need to cut the pie into increments of 3.14 degrees.
Its been too long since geometry class and besides the pie is going fast 😅
And the knife would probably have to be a laser to get that kind of accuracy through clumpy apples.
