Life Lessons I learned Recently

Life lessons I learned recently.

Life has a way of teaching us important lessons when we least expect. Recently, I've learnt some things that changed my perspective.

Patience
Good things take time. Patience brings the best results.

Not everything needs a reaction
Sometimes, choose peace. Peace is way better than violence or proving a point.

People notice more than you think
The "small" things you do and think are unnoticeable. People actually notice them. Oftentimes, we are more impactful than we realize.

Happiness is in the littlest moment
We often think Happiness is something we'll reach one day, probably when we have more money, more time or when we have perfect lives or our dreams come true. But Happiness isn't about the "big" achievements in our daily lives. It is about the small things we overlook. Those moments when you laughed, had a nice time with friends, family, or when you even felt alive, that's Happiness.

Love is more than words.
Love is much more than saying, "I love you." It's in the action we show, the small gestures, the effort we put into the people and things we care about. Checking up on those you care about, doing the things you love the most or the things that bring you peace, going out with friends, family, your boyfriend/girlfriend, taking solo dates, trips, listening to your favourite podcast or music, showing up for those who matter. Love is commitment, kindness, trust, and presence

what's something life has taught you recently?

@stephanie4359, please note that we are a short story community. We only accept short stories. They can be fictional (from your imagination) or creative nonfiction (from your real life experiences). But they must have a storyline and characters and interactions. A life observation is not a story.
