What's going on with Genesis League Goals - Deep dive

Hello everyone!

Today a post about another web3 game, I am discovering at the moment. I saw in their discord that the contract with the MLSPA has been terminated a while ago and thus the images of the players which are owned by the MLSPA have to be removed from the game.

Luckily, we don't have to worry as the team behind GLS quickly reacted and created some other images and names for the players. You can find them on above screenshot.

There is a sidenote though, the game was still playable in the meantime, it didn't go down. But the cards didn't have faces, which isn't great from a visual perspective ofcourse. Now you can once again see your players as they have a face. Personally I like the graphics, in my eyes it's somewhere between comics and real images. So kudos to the team for the development of these pictures, well done!

What is Genesis League Goals all about?

It's a play-to-earn game in the theme of the most popular sport in the world: Soccer. Players are able to create their team, which is a combination of several player cards. Besides these player cards, a coach card can be added as well to give certain bonuses. The goal is to score as much goals as possible.

As with most of these card collecting games, there are regular foils and gold foils. Gold foils give better rewards, so definitely try to hunt for the gold foils! Be aware though, they aren't that easy to grab. You only have a chance of 5% to grab a gold foil, while you have a chance of 95% to grab a regular foil.
