• Paso nro 1

Una vez que tengo mis cuentas, me siento frente a mi telar, que es una caja de teléfono, lista para comenzar. La primera etapa es preparar el telar, asegurándome de que esté bien ajustado y listo para trabajar. Luego, empiezo a tejer, entrelazando los hilos y añadiendo las cuentas una por una. Este proceso es terapéutico; me permite desconectarme del mundo exterior y sumergirme en un estado de concentración y creatividad. A medida que las cuentas se unen, la pulsera comienza a cobrar vida, y siento una profunda satisfacción al ver cómo se transforma mi visión en una realidad tangible.Para planificar el diseño, dibujé sobre una hoja los cuadros donde irá cada cuenta. Esto me permitió visualizar cómo se vería la pulsera antes de comenzar a tejer.

Once I have my beads, I sit in front of my loom, which is a telephone box, ready to begin. The first stage is to prepare the loom, ensuring it is properly adjusted and ready to work. Then, I begin to weave, interlacing the threads and adding the beads one by one. This process is therapeutic; it allows me to disconnect from the outside world and immerse myself in a state of concentration and creativity. As the beads are strung together, the bracelet begins to come to life, and I feel a deep satisfaction watching my vision transform into a tangible reality. To plan the design, I drew the squares where each bead would go on a piece of paper. This allowed me to visualize what the bracelet would look like before I began weaving.

El tejido consiste en insertar las cuentas en una aguja y luego pasarla por debajo de los hilos que están acomodados de manera que estén un poco separados. En cada línea de separación, irán acomodadas las cuentas. Luego, paso la aguja por encima de la alineación para finalmente pasarla por el medio de las cuentas. Weaving involves inserting the beads onto a needle and then passing it under the threads, which are arranged so that they are slightly separated. The beads will be arranged along each separation line. I then pass the needle over the alignment and finally through the middle of the beads. I continue this process several times until I obtain the desired design.

Después de ver que ya tenía el diseño de la mariposa tejido, decidí continuar tejiendo un corazón. Quería no solo tener el mismo diseño, sino incorporar algo más. A pesar de que los colores eran vibrantes, sentí que le faltaba un poco más de vida. Luego de haber tejido el corazón, continué haciendo otra mariposa, pero esta vez invertí los colores. Esta variación no solo le da un toque fresco al diseño, sino que también refleja mi deseo de experimentar y explorar diferentes combinaciones.

• Paso nro 3

After seeing that I had the butterfly design crocheted, I decided to continue crocheting a heart. I wanted to not only maintain the same design, but also incorporate something more. Although the colors were vibrant, I felt it lacked a little more life. After crocheting the heart, I continued making another butterfly, but this time I reversed the colors. This variation not only gives the design a fresh touch, but also reflects my desire to experiment and explore different combinations.

Ya una vez que tengo básicamente la pulsera casi lista, voy a finalizar tejiendo de cada lado unas cuentas en forma de triángulo. Esto me ayudará a disminuir la cantidad de hilos y darle un acabado más pulido. Para cerrar con broche de oro, tejo el sobrante de hilo con un tejido de trenza de tres, como las trenzas que nos hacemos en el cabello. Este detalle no solo asegura que la pulsera esté bien terminada, sino que también añade un toque de elegancia y originalidad a la pieza final.

• Paso nro 4

Once I have the bracelet basically finished, I'll finish by weaving some triangular beads on each side. This will help me reduce the number of threads and give it a more polished finish. To finish it off, I weave the excess thread into a three-strand braid, like the braids we make in our hair. This detail not only ensures a well-finished bracelet, but also adds a touch of elegance and originality to the final piece.
