Description
The Art Nouveau style is an architectural style that I have always liked. Walking through Cesenatico (Italy) I came across this recently renovated Art Nouveau house.
In Italy this architecture was initially called new art. This new architectural style was attractive at the time because it sought to bring a naturalistic and decorative style into architecture.
In fact, as you can see from the photos I included in this post, even the entrance door and the gate are totally immersed in the style of the house. In Italy this style began to develop towards the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century.
Basically the source of inspiration for this architectural style was nature.

Lo stile liberty è uno stile architettonico che mi è sempre piaciuto. Passeggiando per Cesenatico (Italia) mi sono imbattuto in questa abitazione in stile liberty ristrutturata di recente.
In Italia questa architettura venne inizialmente chiamata come arte nuova. Questo nuovo stile architettonico a suo tempo attirava perché cercava di trasportare nell’architettura uno stile naturalistico e decorativo.
Infatti come si vede dalle foto che ho inserito in questo post, anche il portone d’ingresso ed il cancello sono totalmente immersi nello stile della casa. In Italia questo stile inizió a svilupparsi verso la fine dell’ottocento e gli inizi del 1900.
Sostanzialmente la fonte d’ispirazione di questo stile architettonico era la natura.

Only the rich of the early 1900s could afford to build similar houses. Fortunately in Italy many of these homes have been declared historic and no one has been able to demolish them

This architectural style aimed to create a home in harmony with nature. The gate, the garden and the house were built in this spirit. Many of these houses were declared historic and it is for this reason that in Northern Italy they can still be admired today and are exactly as they were 100 years ago
I think I've seen some houses built that took some inspiration from this style. I like the style, and it looks timeless. The state of the property is interesting though. The house still looks new, but the property hasn't been maintained.
These types of houses are usually second homes of very rich people, so they are inhabited for a few months a year. These homes were built in this style more than 100 years ago and many of them have been declared historic. So whoever owns them cannot modify them but carry out renovations that do not change their shape. These construction operations are very expensive.

Questo stile architettonico a me è sempre piaciuto. Dalle nostre parti queste tipologie di case ce l’hanno le persone che dispongono di una certa quantità di denaro… non è il mio caso
