There have been plenty of people talking bollocks about this. Some Reform guy said it was because they got rid of diesel generators, but that hasn't happened yet. The shutdown highlighted some issues that they need to address. They shouldn't be relying on one substation, but it may not be simple to remedy. This case seems to be an accident, but we could see more deliberate attacks.

Have you see Zero Day on Netflix? That's about someone hacking multiple systems in the US to cause chaos.

It sure is sounding like cyber security is something we all need to start taking a lot more seriously. Not sure about Zero Day, sounds familiar, I'll check it out!
