Once you have a 3D printer you will see solutions. It took a couple of hours to print the tripod mount and it cost pennies. There are lots of items you can customise to your needs. I've never used Temu.

With any instrument you will improve by playing more. I try to do a little each day. One advantage of drums is that you can practice rhythms anywhere. I sometimes tap them out with my feet under the desk at work.

The Yamaha EAD10 is a very clever thing. The box on the bass drum has two microphones and a trigger. It connects to a control box that can take more triggers to set off samples and it can apply effects as well as recording. It's simpler than setting up mics all around the kit and good enough for my needs. Actually getting the ideal sound is a whole other skill. If you buy the trigger units they cost from $/£/€50, but cost a lot less to make.

What 3D printer did you buy? Is it a laser one? SLS?
Getting interested myself again, and slowely looking around a bit what to go for. So much to choose from.

Yamaha thingy sounds like a good solution indeed.

I have the Bambu Lab A1. No lasers involved. It's basic, but can be upgraded to multicolour. There is a mini version, but that will put more limits on what you can print. It's easy to operate via the app.
