The News
I am sure many of you noticed the crypto prices generally lurched downwards this week, apart from $LEO which is still doing well. I am hoping $HIVE will recover a bit soon, but nothing is certain.
@peakd have updated the chat feature. There is a channel for each Hive community plus you can do private, encrypted chats with selected people. There have been some early glitches with this, but is currently working. Please feel free to message me. It could replace use of Discord and other external chat for some people. We have less worry of impersonation as you are talking to actual Hive accounts that you can check on.
Friday Follows
- @shanibeer shared news of the next annual meetup in Halifax hosted by @c0ff33a at his coffee roasting facilities. I have not got to the previous ones, but I may try this time, especially as will not be at @hivefest in Mexico.
- @peakd have the account @hive.daily.mix2 that shares summaries of selected posts generated by 'AI'. Some of my posts have been featured and it does a reasonable job of describing them.
- @hmvf are posting more interviews with Hive musicians and details of communities. You may see an interview with me on there soon.

- liketu is a photography biased social platform based on Hive.
- Kolony is a minimal Hive interface.
- Hive Together lets you search for conversations between any pair of Hive users.
- hive.ausbit.dev shows statistics about the winesses. It also has links to various Hive resources.

We are half way through June and nearly half way through this year. Where will you and Hive be by 2024? These are uncertain times in crypto, but we are building cool stuff that ought to appeal to many more people. Keep spreading the word!
Hive five!
I've never heard of the hivedailymix2 account, but it seems pretty interesting. It's a good use of AI, although, I can imagine a daily magazine being written by a curation team, to discuss certain notable things to mention could be cool too. I'm not totally against AI, however, if it's used in that way so I'll be checking them out.
On The Block, or The Daily Hiver would be a good name for a newspaper on chain haha, maybe even go one stage further and have interviews and even some advertising in the publications.
I think the AI tech has applications. Some people just dismiss it all. It could help with content discovery for sure
I think that hive daily mix is pretty cool from what I have seen. The AI does a good job of throwing things together. Can you use the PeakD chat on mobile? That's the one benefit of discord. The app is just easy to use.
I'm not seeing the chat in peakd on phone via Keychain. It's open for other dapps to integrate, do I'd hope it will be on mobile soon. It's early days, so we can't expect too much.

The way we've seen the market come down a lot over the last week and the way we've also been seeing leo it's been going up, it's going to be a benefit that people have got on top of the trace. And within the coming market it will give very good profit.
