Morning Run: Pacey
@steevc just finished a 7.57km run, that lasted for 46 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 537.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
I was at our fortnightly pub jam session last night. There were not so many there, so I played a lot of tunes. I tried some that I had not played in a while to refresh my memory. I have a big book of tunes I have attempted. I generally find the lyrics and chords on Ultimate Guitar. Of course I also have songs that I wrote myself.
This morning was overcast and not too warm that suits me for running. It has been quite windy and wet lately. I heard that trees had come down on the drive to Fairfield, but I could see that they had been cleared.
This was a sort of 'pace run' in that I just went for it, but it was not especially quick. It felt fairly good anyway. I would have run on Tuesday morning, but I had to be at home for someone coming round. Now the days are getting shorter I have to run when I can. I am not a big fan of going out in the dark, but someone at work said he goes out on his mountain bike after putting his kids to bed. Apparently he has very bright lights on his bike.
I extended the run a little. I like to see what is going on around the village and I felt I needed to do more today. Although I think of it as fairly flat around here I still climbed over 50m. That adds to the exercise.
I have volunteered for parkrun on Saturday. I would not mind being one of the walkers who checks everyone is okay, but I will see what role I get.
Run free!

I don't like to walk or run in the dark too, the sun is beautiful, gives life and happy vibes
We haven't had much rain at all here, so things are starting to look pretty dry again. We've got leaves falling from trees already too.
We've had some rain so everything is green. It was a dry summer though. It really feels like a different season now.
Sounds about the same as here.
