Morning Run: Take it away
@steevc just finished a 6.02km run, that lasted for 37 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 446.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
It was a little cooler out this morning and that is fine for me when I am running. I was aiming to do some intervals up the local hill again. I try to vary my runs to work on strength and endurance.
It was quite busy on the hill today with a few other runners passing through. I do not see may people run up and down like I do. I have thought about doing longer sprints, but could not face it today and so stuck with my usual workout of five times from the first ramp to the bollards. I can see on Strava that I did slightly better up the hill than last time. I do like all the statistics to see my progress.
I took it easy on the way home to cool down a little. I may do a gentle run tomorrow to improve my weekly distance as it has not been great this year.
I snapped a couple of the local takeaway food outlets in the village. We have quite a few. Recently there have been evenings were some other people bring their mobile food vans to the village so you have some other options. I had some loaded fries on Friday.
Despite the cloud our solar panels are still generating. Since the last engineer visit they have been working fine. It is satisfying to get most of our energy from the sun.
Happy humpday and run free.

We finally got a bit of cooler weather too. Unfortunately, I have been stuck inside with work and I have a bit of a cold, so getting out and exercising is out of the question. My lung capacity has been virtually zero the past two days.
That's not great so get well soon. Running gets me out of the house as I spend too much time looking at screens otherwise.
I hear that. I'm looking forward to maybe playing some disc golf this weekend if I am feeling up to it.
I think it is really motivating to watch someone take on the challenge of hill intervals and appreciate the beautiful local views.
